Abstract:
Solar and Meteorological Surface Observation Network 1961-1990 (SAMSON) (NOAA) -- SAMSON is a compilation of National Renewable Energy Laboratory solar data and National Weather service hourly surface observations for the period 1961-1990.

This data set consist of the latitude and longitude of the 237 SAMSON Weather Station vectorized in point format and assoicated Weather Station identification units.
Purpose:
For the GEOSTAC database, this data set was compiled in order to to simplify pesticide risk assesment by providing a common data set that all stakeholders can perform analysis upon.
